We are a small company that is very old school in our building practices, we have found that by allowing adequate curing times we achieve a superior overall product and therefore will not rush a phase for the sake of speed.

Site work is critical for any project and experience is the benchmark here. There are many environmental, health, safety, and construction issues to consider while performing the site preparation. We ensure a safe, properly graded well-drained building site. Existing foliage, trees, and rocks are considered and left if possible. Dimensional lumber today is primarily cut from some very small trees and produces some issues that affect building. Due to large growth rings and bulls eye milling framing lumber can do some really strange things. This type of wood is not an excuse for poor building quality it is however; the reason we take a little extra time ensuring suspect boards are used appropriately in the frame as blocking or backing.

From the site work through the turning of the key by the owner, the Muncrief Custom Works team will provide the highest quality, craftsmanship, and service. We believe the success, or failure of the overall building project is directly related to the planning that takes place prior to one stone being moved, and we intend to develop each project adhering to a strict design ethic.

If the design work has been meticulous, the construction should flow without hangups. If there are no changes to the design then schedules and budgets can be adhered to. It is our policy to have the design be 100% of what you want in the first place.
